Airport 13th May
ABOUT THE AIRPORT
Centre for pilot training „Zemun Polje“ has schooled the majority of Serbian pilots of ultralight aircraft. With its 20 year long legacy, it stands out as one of the greatest schools in the region. From the founding in 1996 around 150 pilots have completed the pilot training.
In the airport, there are multiple types of planes available: Pioneer 200, Pioneer 300, MXP-155 Tayrona, MXP Sila 450C i Cessna 172 Skyhawk.
Our airport contains a service station for jet helicopters as well as model Gazelle.
Apollo Gyro AG-1 AND MTO Sport 914 are models of gyrocopters we have available – the first one is for pilot training while the second is the newest one on the airport and has upgraded motor.
When it comes to trikes, the models we provide are Pipistrel Spider and Apollo Delta Jet.
About the airport
The pilot training contains theoretical and practical segments. After the training is complete, future pilots will have to pass knowledge and flying exams.
Currently, there are four types of aircraft at the airport: planes, trikes, gyrocopters and helicopters.
The airport consists of flying school hangar, in which aircraft for pilot training is located, classroom and three rooms for the accommodation of trainees, as well as two camp houses.
Training is guided by experienced pilots – instructors, who have successfully been flying the fastest military planes with an average gust of roughly 3.000 hours.
The airport provides reliable and stable aircraft. Also, our instructors are always available for any sort of consultation.
DO YOU ALREADY HAVE PPL LICENCE?
You can join our club as soon as you complete 2 hours of ultralight plane flight.
A trip with ultralight airplanes
We bring you a short video from our december cross-country visit to the airport of Cenej. Our five aircraft group consisted of two SILA-450 airplanes, a P-200, an Alpha Trainer and a MTO Gyrocopter.
Left and right tailspin on the L29 Dolphin
While you are flying ultralight aircraft it is strictly forbidden to perform any sharp maneuvers, one of which is the tailspin. Correctly recognizing and appropriately reacting to the initial signs and development of tailspin is crucial in correctly performing the recovery. Because of this, it is important for every pilot to know what the tailspin looks like. Today, we are […]
FLYING ON A MILITARY FIGHTER JET
A few days ago we organized another, now traditional visit to the Ečka airport near Zrenjanin. After a short flight to reach it, a few of our pilots had the opportunity to sit behind the controls of a real military jet. The acrobatic abilities and power of the G2 leaves even the best ultralight aircraft far outmatched, which makes this […]
